Create a custom rating cycle in Settings

Our default rating cycles make it easy for you to quickly automate when your co-workers should rate each other.

However, if you'd like a more customised rating structure that falls out of the preset cycles, you can create & name your own rating cycles, set a deadline manually and choose when to close the cycle.

Important note: Ratings is a legacy feature. On 30 Nov 2021 we’re saying goodbye to legacy Rating cycles on Hi5. So, if you’re still running ratings on our legacy feature, follow the steps here to download your Company Status report and to move performance reviews over to Pulses.

Step 1

Go to My Company > Settings and scroll down to the Rating Months section.

Step 2

Select Custom Ratings. Type a name for your custom rating cycle and then choose a deadline date. Click Create Cycle.

This will open the rating cycle with immediate effect. The deadline will be displayed on everyone's Rate Now sections.

Step 3: Closing the rating cycle

Your custom rating cycle will only close once you click on the End Cycle button (so that even the late-comers can get their ratings done if they miss their deadline!).

You are also able to close it at any time before the deadline by simply clicking on the End Cycle button.

Good to know: Note that co-workers will not get ongoing automatic rating reminders when Rating Months are set to Custom Ratings, besides being notified when the custom rating cycle is started and then closed.
